Dina DeLeon and Mina Hegaard, two Texas mom-preneurs have a mission and a vision; to disrupt the cut flower industry by delivering sustainable live succulent arrangements and smiles to their customers. It is a complimentary partnership and friendship, with bonds as neighbors, mothers and entrepreneurs.
DeLeon paused her practice as a chiropractor to found the business in late 2020 after adjusting to hardships brought on by the pandemic. She continues her mission in contributing to health and wholistic wellness in yet another form; atmospheric wellness through plant cultivation and distribution.
Hegaard is a licensed commercial real estate agent in Austin, TX, and a hemp entrepreneur, having built and sold a clothing brand in Los Angeles, CA. She brings her vision of sustainability in production processes and practices to the core of Fat Leaf.
Together, both with a passion for helping others, they are committed to creating a net positive influence on the planet with plants.
